Ski & Snowboarding
Our Ski Trip is back once again for 2013 - and this time we’ll be taking you to two of the most popular and lively resorts in Europe!
BMF Ski Trips are a great way to go on holiday with a great crowd of people - both BMFers and non-BMFers. As there are so many people on the same trip you’ll easily find a group of your ability to ski with and come away with some new friends. Don’t worry if you’re coming on your own - most people do!
In 2013 we’ve reserved two chalets exclusively for BMF - one in Val d’Isère, one of the most famous resorts in France, and one in St. Anton, renowned for its world class skiing and its nightlife to match! To find out more about the trips, read the information below and click on the ‘further information’ links to find out more and see which one you’d prefer to come on.
Val d’Isère, France
Ski Trip One: Val d’Isère, France
2nd - 9th February 2013
Join your BMF instructors and 23 others for a February break at Chalet Lores, a Val d’Isère favourite, located in the heart of the resort and a short distance from the lifts.
Val d’Isère is one of the most famous resorts in Europe, and forms part of the huge Espace Killy ski area in France, shared with Tignes.
The ski area has a vast 300km of groomed pistes with a wide variety of easy runs for beginners and challenging runs and off-piste areas for more advanced skiers and boarders. There are also snow parks, an Olympics downhill course and two glaciers for high-altitude skiing.
Val d’Isère is famous firstly for its skiing, but secondly, for its nightlife. The party often starts on the mountain and carries on into the late hours in resort. There are a huge number of bars and restaurants to suit different tastes. If you prefer a quieter evening, the chalet has its own small bar and living area with a cosy open fire.
St. Anton, Austria
Ski Trip Two: St. Anton, Austria
17th - 24th March 2013
Our second ski trip of 2013 will be to Chalet Pia, in the heart of St. Anton, Austria. St. Anton has a world-wide reputation as being the resort that has it all - a fantastic skiing area, a bustling and charming resort centre with all the restaurants, bars and services you could want, and numerous other sports facilities including the Wellness centre with facilities including swimming, sauna, gym and ice skating rink.
St. Anton’s ski area includes 280km of marked ski runs and 180km of off-piste possibilities. It is most popular with intermediate to advanced skiers and boarders due to its challenging runs and off-piste areas, but also has a range of easier slopes for beginners.
More »The resort is large but full of character, with a traffic-free main street with traditional Tyrol buildings. Its après ski scene is renowned and it is definitely one of the best resorts in the Alps to party!
