Ski & Snowboarding
Our Ski Trip is back once again for 2012. In 2011 we took almost 100 BMFers away to the slopes of the Alps on two different trips so we are looking forward to taking more of you away with us in 2012!
BMF Ski Trips are a great way to go on holiday with a great crowd of people – both BMFers and non-BMFers. As there are so many people on the same trip you’ll easily find a group of your ability to ski with and come away with some new friends. Don’t worry if you’re coming on your own – most people do!
We’re running two trips next year – one to Austria and one to France, so read the information below and click on the ‘further information’ links to find out more and see which one you’d prefer to come on.
Sölden, Austria
Ski Trip One: Sölden, Austria
29 January – 5 February 2012
Join your BMF instructors and 28 others for a January break at Chalet Eishaus, located in the Austrian ski resort of Sölden.
Sölden is in a great ski area offering 150km of groomed pistes, state-of-the-art lifts and gondolas and runs suitable for all abilities. The snow is guaranteed from November through to May thanks to the high location and the two glacier ski areas.
More »The town of Sölden is renowned for its lively après ski, so it is the perfect place for those of you keen to make the most of your time in resort!
Whilst not the most picturesque town in the Austrian Alps, Sölden offers a fantastic mix of varied and snow-sure skiing with lively and varied nightlife. This trip is perfect for you if you’re looking for a good mix of ski and après ski!
La Plagne, France
Ski Trip Two: La Plagne, France
18 - 25 March 2012
Our second ski trip of 2012 will be in La Plagne, France. The BMF chalet is located right on the slopes – and is a genuine ski-in, ski-out property. Again, we’ll be taking 35 of you away to this chalet with your BMF instructors.
Plagne Centre forms part of a number of villages making up La Plagne, and sits within the huge ‘Paradiski’ area, incorporating 425km of pistes from La Plagne to Les Arcs, across the valley.
More »The resort is fairly small, with a small selection of bars to choose from for après ski. The buildings are 1970s-style, but what the resort lacks in character, it makes up for in location and immense ski area.
This trip is perfect for you if you are keen to ski hard and make the most of the huge area. It is also great for beginners, with plenty of learner slopes in the lower areas.
